Lisa was born in Japan, raised in San Diego, and graduated from Harvard University. Her career in fitness was the unexpected result of getting diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in 2014. After 5 years of physical training and research, Lisa managed to heal all of her EDS symptoms and wanted to assist others in doing the same. She became a certified personal trainer in 2019 and eventually focused specifically on posture and biomechanics. In addition to her 8 years of studying Sanskrit-based philosophy, Ayurveda, and meditation, Lisa has also received certifications from StrongFirst, FRC, NASM, RYT and GOATA. She currently resides in Orange County, CA.
